Here's a very nice, somewhat vintage glossy color postcard showing a Mountain Coyote in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California. The photo is credited to Arnold Compolongo.
The back states: "The mountain coyote is a member of the dog and wolf family. It weighs up to 30 pounds or more and has an eerie howl that can sometimes be heard at night. Distributed throughout the Sierra, it usually hunts alone in the open, feeding on squirrels, gophers, rabbits, mice and grasshoppers."
The card was published by Scope Enterprises, Clovis, California, and carries code number "SE-811".
Size: approx. 5-7/8" x 4-1/8"
Date: Not dated, but I'm fairly certain it's from the late 1980s
Condition: Excellent, I'd say, with bright, fresh colors and no noticeable edge wear. (Please see scans.)
MULTIPLE ITEM SHIPPING DISCOUNT: I will ship up to 4 cards for the single base shipping charge shown. For purchases of more than 4 cards, the shipping charge will increase by just a small increment for every 4 additional cards.
