Description: Here's an interesting matchbox sleeve (w/o the inner tray) from Cunard, showing the ocean liner "Queen Elizabeth II" on one side and an early Cunard paddle wheel steamship, the "Britannia" on the other.
The edge of the sleeve opposite the striker strip just says "CUNARD".
A "POCKETBOX" produced by Diamond Match Div., New York.
Actual Size: approx. 2" x 1-3/8" x 3/8"
Date: Not dated, but I believe it's from the mid-1980s.
Condition: Just good, I'd say. The sleeve is a bit soiled and scuffed, but the striker strip doesn't show any evidence of actual use. The inner tray that once held the matches is not included. (Please see scans.)
