Description: Here's a vintage standard matchbook cover from The Hotel Statler, a Hilton Hotel. It doesn't indicate which of several Hotel Statlers it came from. It does identify Conrad N. Hilton as President.
The inside lists all the hotels that belonged to the Hilton Hotel chain at the time the matchbook was produced, both in the United States and internationally.
It was produced by Match Corp. of America, Chicago.
Actual Size: approx. 1.5" x 2" (closed)
Date: Not dated, but appears to be from about the 1960s, or perhaps earlier.
Condition: Good, I'd say. The cover is just a bit soiled, with some wear along the edges and several mild creases. There's also a tiny pinhole just above the striker strip. The striker strip itself does not appear to have been used. (Please see scans.)
