Description: Here's a nice old postcard from the Thrifty Inns of America motel, located at the Summerton Exit off I-95 in Manning, South Carolina. It features both a street view of the motel and an inset with the motel's swimming pool and a pretty girl in a bathing suit, leaning against a palm tree.
The back states that the motel had 100 rooms, individually controlled heat and air conditioning, a swimming pool, Color T.V. in every room, and direct dial phones. It also had a restaurant and lounge.
The photos are credited to Jos. H. Allen, Jr. Industrial Photography of Atlanta, Georgia. The card was printed by Dynacolor Graphics of Miami, Florida, and carries code number "P1190".
Size: approx. 3½" x 5½"
Date: Not dated, but likely from the 1970s
Condition: Very good, I'd say. The card is unused and clean, with slightly bumped corners and a mild thumb bend near the top center. (Please see scans.)
MULTIPLE ITEM SHIPPING DISCOUNT: I will ship up to 4 cards for the single base shipping charge shown. For purchases of more than 4 cards, the shipping charge will increase by just a small increment for every 4 additional cards.
