Here's a very nice unused linen postcard featuring the "Hotel Claridge at Night" in Atlantic City, N.J. The number "16" follows the caption on the front. The back is marked with number "25252" and "PUBLISHED BY H. S. SAMPLINER, ATLANTIC CITY, N.J.--THE WORLD'S LARGEST PLAYGROUND / NATURAL COLOR POST CARD MADE IN U.S.A. BY E. C. KROPP CO., MILWAUKEE, WIS.--(FEY)
The description on the back reads:
Hotels Marlborough, Claridge, Brighton
at Night, Atlantic City, N.J.--16
Hotel Claridge, Atlantic City's newest beach front hotel, is located just off the Boardwalk facing the beautiful Fountain of Light, a tribute to Thomas A. Edison's discovery of the incandescent lamp. The Hotel Marlborough is at the extreme left of the card and the Hotel Brighton at the extreme right.
Size: 3½" x 5½"
Date: Not dated, but appears to be from the 1940s, give or take a decade
Condition: Very fine, I'd say. The card is unused with only very slight edge wear (see scans).
MULTIPLE ITEM SHIPPING DISCOUNT: I will ship up to 4 cards for the single base shipping charge shown. For purchases of more than 4 cards, the shipping charge will increase by just a small increment for every 4 additional cards.
