Description: Victorian Trade Card - LION COFFEE - Woolson Spice Co., Toledo, Ohio
Here's a very pretty card captioned "EASTER EGG ROLL - WHITE HOUSE LAWN". It features a little girl in a pink dress and a wide-brimmed hat holding a single white egg in her right hand and a wicker basket full of additional eggs in her left. Another egg lays on the grass.
The back of the card has an offer for a water-color picture of a young girl in a nightgown entitled "MEDITATION", which was free for 18 proofs of purchase and a 2-cent stamp. (Sorry, this offer expired January 1st, 1895!) At the bottom center is printed the number "6".
Size: approx. 6.875" x 5"
Date: 1894
Lithographer: Gast Lith. Co., New York & Chicago
Condition: Very good, I'd say. The card is generally only lightly soiled, with somewhat worn edges and corners. All four of the corners are creased. (Please see scans.)
MULTIPLE ITEM SHIPPING DISCOUNT: I will ship up to 4 cards for the single base shipping charge shown. For purchases of more than 4 cards, the shipping charge will increase by just a small increment for every 4 additional cards.
