Description: Victorian Greeting Card - RAPHAEL TUCK & SONS - "Ring out the Old Ring in the New"
Here's a very nice vintage New Year's card featuring a few branches of leaves and several small butterflies or moths. I can't find any artist identification.
The back carries a long verse signed by Adelaide Proctor. The lower left corner features Raphael Tuck "PRIZE DESIGN" easel logo, but without any series number.
Size: approx. 4.75" x 5.625"
Date: Not dated
Lithographer: Raphael Tuck & Sons, London
Condition: Good, I'd say. The front of the card is only lightly soiled but the back has a strip of staining along the left edge. The edges and corners are slightly worn and there's a small crease across the upper right corner. There also appears to be a short, mild crease near the center of the card. (Please see scans.)
