Description: Here's a somewhat vintage Texaco road map covering the mid-Atlantic states of Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia. One side is almost completely devoted to the overall road and highway systems of those four states, while the other side has more detailed maps of Metropolitan Baltimore, Metropolitan Washington, the Richmond-Petersburg area, the Hampton Roads area, downtown Washington, and Shenandoah National Park.
Size: Folded: approx. 9" x 4.25"
Open: approx. 18" x 34"
Date: There doesn't seem to be a copyright date, but census figures are given for 1970, so it seems likely the map is from the 1970s.
Condition: Fair, I'd say. While the map is generally clean and unmarked, it has clearly been well used and there are separations, both small and large, along several of the vertical folds. (Please see photos.)
