SERIES: Miscellany - Unnumbered (aka: General Subjects, General Interest, Artistic, etc.)
This is one of 100 miscellaneous unnumbered cards advertising the "Ariosa" brand of coffee that Arbuckles' issued in the late 1880s. This card shows a pair of adorable brown and white puppy dogs sitting on some stone steps.
The back carries the familiar Arbuckles' "Four Points" sales pitch.
SIZE: 3" x 5"
DATE: Undated (but probably 1888 or 1889)
LITHOGRAPHER: Geo. S. Harris & Sons
CONDITION: Good to very good, I'd say. This card is only very lightly soiled with fairly sharp edges and barely "bumped" corners. The only significant flaw is a small patch of surface paper loss on the front, just to the left of the dog on the top step. (Please see scans.)
MULTIPLE ITEM SHIPPING DISCOUNT: I will ship up to 4 cards for the single base shipping charge shown. For purchases of more than 4 cards, the shipping charge will increase by just a small increment for every 4 additional cards.
