Here's a vintage Hummel figurine from the early 1960s featuring a young boy and girl looking off into the distance with their mouths open. The little girl is carrying an empty basket. It's called "Surprise", and is marked "W. GERMANY" with the stylized bee trademark. "94 3/0" is also incised under the base with "M. I. Hummel" incised around the back of the base. An early German catalog also refers to this figurine as "HANSEL UND GRETL".
Size: Approx. 4¼" high
Condition: Looks very nice but does seem to have surface crazing throughout, although that's really only apparent under magnification (at least to my eyes). There are no chips, cracks or repairs.
